How to Login to womentravel.info
- Click on Login in menu across the top of the page
- Enter your login and password - remember no capitals!
- Click on ‘Submit’

If you entered the correct login name and password  - Congratulations, you can edit your listing now!

Administration Menu:
Note the right hand column lets you:
1. Change your password
2. see your listings - eg accommodation /Tours
3. Tour Calendar - if you run tours you can list or edit them individually here
4. Report - you can see how many clicks you have had to your full listing/your website/ email.

To update your listing/s
1. Click on edit beside the relevant listing - a large screen will appear with your present details listed
2. change or add details (see below for more help with this)
3. scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on ‘submit’

Detailed information about the Listing Form:

Select a category: you must choose to list as either accommodation or tour operator.
If your business is both of these, you need to list the business twice.

Zone/Country/Region: As an accommodation listing, this is a critical part of you being able to be found on our Google Map faclity. As a tour operator, it will enable people to see the part of the world your business is based in. If your country or region is not represented here contact Women travel will add a new one.

Subtitle: Your business can have a short descriptive subtitle eg for Waihoihoi it is “A country retreat for women” This helps to see at a glance what is special about your business.

Address: it is very important to fill the street/town and zip - postcode in the form as stated. This will help google maps find you.

Phone/fax Numbers: Please use this format (International access code) area code - local number
If your number is call free for add <call free>   If your number is a mobile/cell phone add <mobile/cell>

Description Boxes: try and use evocative language - paint a picture for people about what you offer. If you type too many words in any of the descriptions, you will get a message telling you this, simply go back and edit the section. You will see you now have a character counter in each description to allow you to edit more accurately. If you ignore this warning, your listing will simply be cut off at the word limit - sometimes mid sentence, which is not a good look.

How to find us: This description box is for you to let travellers know - how far you are away from a major cities, then nearer towns etc. Please give the kind of information that you think will be helpful to people from overseas planning their visit. Remember we also have the google map function.

Features: There are a number of features here which enable you to give folk more information abou your business. please tick what is applicable to you. Visitors to the site will be able to search for places where children are welcome, or wwoofers, or dogs etc. If you feel we need additional features on the website, please let me know.

Accommodation Type: Please indicate which type/s are applicable to you if you run an accommodation business. You can tick more than one.

Photos:  Each listing can have three photos,If you have any trouble with uploading photograph/images - one thing to remember is the name of your image should not have any spaces.  if you still have trouble, Send them to Womentravel and we will do it for you.

Prices: please list your accommodation rates, prices for meals etc. If you run a tour, you can list approximate price ranges for tours.

Last minute Discounts: You can add a special discounted trip or stay. These are date specific, and are designed for last minute deals, rather than regular specials, only use them for these.

Day tours  If you offer day tours, rather than or as well as longer trips, or are an accommodation provider who also offers day tours, fill in details of what you offer here.

Customised tours If you customised tours for travellers, fill in details of what you offer here.

Retreats and Spas
Retreats are a sub category of Accommodation. If you offer retreats, you should tick the appropriate features button, and fill in the description for Retreats. All retreats are also listed as accommodation.

A general note for tour operators:

The information on your main womentravel listing should be generic, rather than about specific tours. Pointing to the kinds of things you offer.

To add a Tour to the Tour Calender listings
If you have a listing as a Tour operator - click on Tour Calendar, you can add an event or edit an event. These are immediately added to the calendar section of the website.   The tours need to have a start and finish date. 

Note: that web link for the Calendar will work best if it is the link to the actual tour information on your website eg http://www.waihoihoi.co.nz/waipucaves.htm rather than simply http://www.waihoihoi.co.nz This is also true of the photo - it will work best if it is a photo to do with this particular tour, rather than a generic one.

Each tour can be listed separately on the calendar of events pages. This will save you editing time, as the data base will save the information once the tour is over, and you can simply change the date for the next year.

Why List your tours on the Tour Calendar?
This is a unique feature of the Women Travel websites. Many travellers have quite specific times that they want to travel - so listing your tour here enables them to see at a glance the dates and place of each tour, without going to each indivicual operators website.
